Educational Background
editI attended Brigham Young University from 1993 to 2002, with a two-year break in 1995-1997 to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Yekaterinburg, Russia. I finally graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science in April of 2002.
Professional Background
editSince May 2002 I've worked as a Software Design Engineer for Microsoft. I work in the Windows division on the NTFS file system and the Filter Manager. During my time at BYU I worked as a database programmer and system administrator for uSight, a web developer and database programmer for BYU's Center for Instructional Design, and a network administrator for BYU's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, though not all at the same time! From the summer of 1999 until my graduation I worked at Microsoft on three summer internships, all within the Windows division.
Hobbies and Interests
editMost of my little free time is spent playing EVE Online. I like to collect and play with LEGO bricks. See my page at LUGNET for more information. I also like to play Dungeons and Dragons.
In the past I've enjoyed SCUBA diving and Fencing, and maybe I'll take them up again.
