Welcome to WikiProject Policy. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Policy and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in policy. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.
Goals
editThis WikiProject aims at a good comprehensive and coherent description and categorization of policy related articles on Wikipedia. This would mean the creation of new and improving on already existing articles about policies (categorized under Category:Policy) and policy makers (categorized under Category:Policy_makers), describing the involvement of all notable stakeholders - i.e. organizations and people from governments, corporations and civil society - in the creation of public and private policy and its relevant theories and practices (best practices and lessons learned), from the local up to the global level and throughout time.
