Robby Blake Bortles[1][2] (born April 28, 1992) is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played college football at UCF, where he became the AAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2013, and was selected third overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2014 NFL Draft.

As the Jaguars' starting quarterback from 2014 to 2018, Bortles set the franchise records for single season passing yards and touchdowns in 2015. His 2017 campaign proved to be his most successful when he helped lead the Jaguars to their first AFC Championship Game appearance since 1999. However, Bortles also struggled with turnovers, leading the league in interceptions thrown during the 2015 season and having a league-high 75 interceptions by the end of his five years with Jacksonville. After being released by the Jaguars in 2019, Bortles served as a backup for the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos.
