The BYD Yangwang U8, or simply Yangwang U8 is a body-on-frame, battery electric full-sized luxury SUV produced by Chinese premium brand Yangwang, a luxury marque of BYD Auto. According to sources, it is the most expensive mass-produced Chinese car.[6]
Design
editThe U8 features many design cues from the Land Rover L663 Defender, although the Defender is a unibody SUV below 5.1 metres, but the U8 is a body-on-frame SUV above 5.3m. But the U8 has many design features, expected of a Chinese luxury car company. It has crystal-shaped headlights, with a crystal grille.
