Article Evaluation:

edit

SMS language From my view of point, everything in the article seems to be relevant to the article. It briefly introduces the meaning of the phrase "SMS language", and then the history and the extended meaning of it. However, I noticed that the latest source it uses is from 2012. Since SMS language is a concept which contents changes really fast with time, I think it should be adding more sources and adding some of the SMS language people use nowadays to make this wiki page more up to date. The article sends a neutral message and there are not any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position. Since the viewpoints are mostly neutral, I did not find any viewpoints that are overrepresented or underrepresented. The links from the citation are still working; however, as I said before, they are already outdated. There are some discussions about what the title of these pages should be, like the page was used to be named just ‘SMS’, however later, most people thought the concept of this name is too wide and changed it to ‘SMS language’. There are also some arguments about whether a specific word or phrase is popular enough to be noticed on the page. When we talk about a concept like this in the class, we may add many of our own insights or ideas in it and we do not usually think of categorizing it, however, the Wikipedia discusses the question more organized, splitting the issues into little categories.

"青春有你Qing Chun You Ni", formerly known as "年少有你 Nian Shao You Ni"[1] , is a reality show launched by iQIYI in China in 2019. This program is originally called 'the second season of idol trainee'.[2] [3]However, because the SARFT does not allow the words' idol 'or' trainee 'to appear in the program, the name of the program and the appellation of contestants in the program are changed . Although the program is broadcast under the new name, the competition system is basically the same as the previous one. The contestants still select 100 contestants from the agencies or trainee companies both from China and oversea to participate in the contest. In the next four months, they will conduct completely closed training and recording.
