Yeast biotechnology describes all processes and applications in biotechnology where yeasts are used. This includes prdoction processes from several sectors over mellenia starting with first processes in food fermentation for brewing, winemaking or others up to modern uses in production processes in pharmacy, biofuel production and industrial biotechnology.
