Hmm, I don't thin the pic of Machu Picchu generally describes South America... would be more suitable if a map of the area is placed instead. --I am greener than you! (Lima - Charlie - Over) 02:27, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Except that the map that was used was so dark as to be near illegible. If you have a better one, suggest it. Chris 02:42, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

New version of template edit
There is an updated template at Template:WikiProject South America/sandbox which uses WPBannerMeta. Any objections to using it? -- WOSlinker (talk) 17:34, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
