When I first saw the template's picture I wasn't sure what it was really until I looked at it close. It illustrated workers at a stock exchange, something I probably should admit that it would make a significant icon. But when I looked at pictures at other project templates, I noticed that most of them have simple images (pictures depicting one thing as a symbol) and not very complicated ones (such pictures portraying numerous things within). So I figured it would be best if I added something simple like a briefcase, an object office workers bring a lot which makes it something that really defines business.

This idea may not have a so-called "consensus" but I assume it's a good one that perhaps a lot would accept. I got this from playing a video game called The Sims. There, I saw that their symbol for business is exactly what I applied on the template.124.106.226.204 (talk) 00:13, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

You made some decent points there. I looked on the internet for the subject and found most people will agree with your site.

{{editprotected}} I would like an admin's help. File:WikiProject Business briefcase.svg has superseded File:Businessbriefcase.png. I would like to replace the latter, but http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:WikiProject_Business&action=edit is protected. Can someone fix this for me? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Koavf (talkcontribs)

The template currently says: This article is within the scope of WikiProject Business, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of Business on Wikipedia. (formatting replaced with own)

It should say: This article is within the scope of WikiProject Business, a collaborative effort to improve the coverage of business on Wikipedia. (formatting replaced with own)

"Business" is not a proper noun, and should not be capitalized, except in "WikiProject Business", which is a proper noun. Thank you. 69.155.128.40 (talk) 22:53, 15 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please add {{subst:rfd|Surprise WikiProject redirects (A–D)|days=1|content= in a new line above the redirect, and }} in a new line below the redirect. I am nominating it at RfD. If it's been a few days, change the |days= value to a higher number to match. SWinxy (talk) 00:14, 8 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Done, although I am going to oppose the RfD. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 08:54, 8 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
