The template image should probably be changed
editOn certain smaller displays or at high resolution that image just looks like a random spatter of colorful dots (until, of course, you click on it to enlarge it). Something simpler may be better and stand out more. Just a suggestion. -- Ϫ 02:29, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- Very belated reply, but I came here to ask the same question. I assume many other editors over the years have found themselves distracted from talk page discussions by the question of what on earth is depicted here. My guess was some sort of Million Dollar Homepage-style artwork. If a photo of a supermarket is desired there are hundreds of others in commons:Category:Interiors of supermarkets by country that are much less distracting. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 17:34, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
- If there are no objections, I'll go ahead with an edit request to change this to a less distracting image in due course. My suggestion is File:Extra Coop supermarket, Bergen Storsenter, Norway 2017-11-01 confectionery (godteri).jpg, though there are lots that could be used. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 20:01, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
Documentation
editWhat are the additional fields listas, category, and small supposed to be for? There's no documentation and I looked at several articles to see if I could find an example but none of the ones I looked at used any of these additional fields. Requesting a minor edit. I don't know why the image used is big compared to other WikiProjects! Currently, the template has IMAGE_LEFT_LARGE = 140px. I'm suggesting the image should be resized to 100px (IMAGE_LEFT_LARGE = 100px) and maybe the addition of IMAGE_LEFT_SMALL = 50px below it. – The Grid (talk) 16:48, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
