Papyrus

edit

I have removed Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 48 from the template as:

1) It does not seem to be a notable part of the University of Dundee - I can find no University webpage or publication which mentions it. 2) It is not clear the University actually has it. While the Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 48 page refers to it being held by the Vaughan Library, University College Dundee, this reference comes from a web page which seems to date its own source to 1898. University College has not existed since 1954, and as noted there is nothing on any the University's web pages (eg in the Archive or Museums) to indicate they hold it. I can also find no references to a Vaughan Library at the University or indeed one existing when it was University College.

In addition the University does hold a 'Fragment of Oxyrhynchus Papyri', but the description and date of this item do not fit with that of Papyrus Oxyrhynchus 48 - see http://arccat.dundee.ac.uk/dserve.exe?&dsqIni=Dserve.ini&dsqApp=Archive&dsqDb=Catalog&dsqCmd=Show.tcl&dsqSearch=(RefNo==%27MS%20142/1%27) Dunarc (talk) 19:41, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Rector

edit

I noted Mark Beaumont was elected earlier this year to succeed Brian Cox, but was not sure if he had taken office. However I think this link http://www.dundee.ac.uk/news/2016/principal-and-rector-to-row-row-row-for-charity.php makes it clear he is now officially Rector so I have changed this in the template.
