Wording of the text

Does anyone have an opinion on the wording of the text? I have edited it from the previous versions by User:JLJ001, so it is not so ambiguous what you need to do. Flavour text

US/UK neutral wording

As this is used on all portal pages, it would help if its spelling was not US English! Also the revised wording is far harder to understand than the original. What about simply "Show new selections below"? Espresso Addict (talk) 18:57, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Simpler way

Now that we have Special:Purge, it seems like the contents of the div:

{{purge|{{{1|'''Refresh with new selections below (purge)'''}}}}}

could be replaced with the "simpler":

[[Special:Purge/{{FULLPAGENAME}}|{{{1|'''Refresh with new selections below (purge)'''}}}]]

I say "simpler" because the current implementation ultimately relies on a module, whereas the same thing could be accomplished with a normal wikilink. - dcljr (talk) 03:35, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

Purge not working

Is it just me or it is normal for purge buttons not to work? I have been updating content on this portal now and the subpages I am transcluding on it, despite being updated are not reflecting. Danidamiobi (talk) 18:36, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

Thank you so much for bring WP:MULTI to my notice. I must have violated it a couple of times. I did that because the last chat looks like there has been no case on the template for decades.
