Question re collapsing edit

Hi SlimVirigin, regarding your reversion [1] of collapsing the template - would you mind providing the mark-up to collapse on an individual page. I don't mind collapsing on some pages and not others. Thanks. Truthkeeper88 (talk) 00:57, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I created the template with auto collapse, so we can control it on the individual pages. If you write {{Ezra Pound|state=collapsed}} that gives you this:
If there's more than one template, they collapse automatically, unless you write {{Ezra Pound|state=uncollapsed}} With just one template, the default is uncollapsed. SarahSV (talk) 01:05, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks so much. I didn't actually know about that. (Now we have to figure out why this page is formatting like this ... ) Truthkeeper88 (talk) 01:17, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Names edit

Hi Randy Kryn, I'd like to restore the names. They were removed without discussion a few years ago. They are his mother-in-law, who helped to raise his son, his contacts and publishers, whose careers he helped and vice versa. It isn't the case that, just because they are in the template, the template must be added to their articles. SarahSV (talk) 20:29, 7 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Sure, I won't revert again. You've done much work on Pound and the template, so your vision and knowledge of the topic. For me this will be a separate instance, and don't know how common it is to add a 'Friends' section on templates. From your description of the listing, maybe 'Friends and colleagues' could be a better section title. Thanks for all your good work. Randy Kryn (talk) 21:07, 7 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Randy, thanks, I'll restore it shortly. Maybe friends and publishers, or something. Or maybe two groups. I'll take another look. SarahSV (talk) 21:25, 7 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
