editThis template is incoherent. It claims a publication date of 1990 from an original publication in 1972, but the (linked) OCLC entry is for the 1981 edition, and the ISBN appears to be to a 1997 edition. This inconsistency is breaking shortened footnote references; see e.g. Carnarvon (Pant) railway station whence I am about to remove it and replace it with a corrected in-text reference. I suggest that somebody with access to the text of the book make a coherent version of the template and update the references everywhere the template is used.
