Warwan Valley

edit

  • New enough, long enough, meets other guidelines. Multiple references on each paragraph. QPQ done. The hook is not in the article - only that "most villages have no road connectivity". There is no mention of electricity or communications.
Problem with hook needs to be addressed. MB 02:04, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
  • The hook was already present in the lead section. I have now included it in the body (access section) as well. MB May please check.  MehrajMir (talk) 03:39, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
I missed that in the lead, but it really belongs in the body also. I'm concerned that hook/article say the villages have NO electricity/connectivity while the source says the PEOPLE have no electricity/connectivity and goes on to explain there is some electricity generated locally providing some communications and some lighting (solar), and there is some road connectivity part of the year. I suggest a minor change, either:
  • ALT0A ... that most of the people in the Warwan Valley are living without electricity, communication and road connectivity?
  • ALT0B ... that most of the villages in the Warwan Valley are living with minimal electricity, communication and road connectivity?
. Please comment. MB 17:58, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
  • Okay ALT0A looks a better alternative. Please proceed.  MehrajMir (talk) 03:17, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
Approved with ALT0A. MB 16:09, 17 February 2019 (UTC)
MB, this review has been sheer pathetic.
Can you explain how did you miss so many gross errors, as highlighted in my edit summaries across these series of edits?
On top of that; this's a sheer POV hook (which I can excuse as non-understandable by someone outside ARBIPA). WBGconverse 18:50, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
  • I am not satisfied at the quality of the article and the motivation seems extremely dubious.WBGconverse 17:05, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
  • ☒N Fails basic DYK requirements of size post my edits. WBGconverse 18:50, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
  • That doesn't appear to be relevant anymore, but the fact that some villages are without electricity or road connections isn't anywhere near interesting or curious enough for a DYK hook. There are hundreds of thousands, if not more, villages out there in the world that don't have such basic infrastructure. This is neither unusual nor interesting. It's even expected for such a remote area of the Himalayas. Now, if there were some new project to build a road to those villages, that would be something that you'd expect to find something DYK-worthy in. – Uanfala (talk) 21:25, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
  • As far as the prose is concerned I expanded the article which is now again more than the required.
  • In 21st century when people enjoy 5G connectivity, have access to the best health care system, high speed trains. The residents of this particular valley lack very basic things of all these facilities that surely make the hook interesting and it is the fundamental principle of DYK to make people aware.  MehrajMir (talk) 08:41, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
  • And; again trimmed for the same problem of faking references.
  • And, 5G connectivity; best healthcare system in remote valleys? WHAT? WBGconverse 13:16, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
