Walid Juffali edit

Created by Edwardx (talk), Gareth E Kegg (talk), and Philafrenzy (talk). Nominated by Edwardx (talk) at 20:36, 18 November 2015 (UTC).

  • Article is long enough but posted a day late. I hope it is ok. Hooks are intereting, cited and verified. No copy vio noted. Text is neutral. QPQ done. I prefer ALT1 hook. Good to go. Nvvchar. 15:29, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you. I agree that ALT1 is probably the better hook. Edwardx (talk) 15:42, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

Removed from the main page per an ERRORS report where the hook's veracity was questioned, mainly because of a possible misinterpretation of a news report, but secondarily because The Daily Mail should not be used as a "reliable source". The Rambling Man (talk) 19:49, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

  • Note: I am closing this by reverting to the previous promotion, but retaining The Rambling Man's post-removal note. The hook, erroneous though it was, was on the main page for nearly eight of its scheduled twelve hours before it was removed, which is almost as long as a valid hook would be on the page if we were doing three sets a day. The article has had plenty of exposure through DYK. The ALT1 hook (now struck) was the one promoted; the Errors report noting the issue is here. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:29, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
