WEBY

  • ... that after the owner of Florida radio station WEBY lost the license for an "unpardonable lack of candor", his son bought the station's successor and restored the call letters? Source: (Multiple, in article)

  • Recent 5x expansion, long enough, and seems to be well written without issues. QPQ is done. All hooks are on the longer side; I think ... that the owner of Florida radio station WEBY lost the license for an "unpardonable lack of candor"? as a shorter ALT0 would be punchier. No other issues. • @Pi.1415926535: I'd be fine with that, though "lack of candor" is definitely one of the few things that is common in most license revocations as a group. Still might be punchy for an unfamiliar audience. Raymie (tc) 06:16, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
@Raymie: "Unpardonable lack of candor" is pretty amusing to me as someone unfamiliar with the legal intricacies of radio stations. If you're okay with it, then good to go with the shorter hook. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 06:25, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
