  • This looks ok to me. I think it meets all the criteria laid out in the template, but as this is my first review, I'm going to ask a colleague to check behind me. LadyofShalott 20:05, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
  • That's a saucy remark, Lady. I'd say it looks good. Drmies (talk) 01:13, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Anyway, the review looks good too. I checked for 5x expansion, which is easily met (discarding, in both versions, the Recordings sections etc). I am looking at the sources also, but I do have a question (please see the relevant edit summary in the history): the title for Wolff strikes me as odd, and perhaps this should be cited as a chapter in a book or so, with a chapter title and J.S. Bach Cantatas Vol. 20 for the book title. Please look at that; if that's cleared up then the "tick" is a formality. Gerda, you've written so many of these--is this "Bach" person important in any way? I didn't see him/her nominated at the Grammy's in the last few years. Drmies (talk) 01:37, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Wolff wrote the liner notes on the Koopman recordings of the complete extant cantatas. One of my early DYK: Klaus Mertens, "... that within ten years bass singer Klaus Mertens recorded all vocal works of Johann Sebastian Bach with the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir?" Wolff also wrote books on the subject, I quote the liner notes because of easy access. I don't think the liner notes are exact quotes from a book. I just finished a list on the cantatas, translated from German, which I linked in the hook, perhaps answering your "unanswerable" question. You may also follow the question on Wikipedia's 10th birthday: "... that it took more than half a century to complete the Neue Bach-Ausgabe, the second edition of the collected works of Johann Sebastian Bach?" BTW, the day of the premiere of BWV 14 is today, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:48, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Article looks good. Drmies and Gerda can continue to discuss on the article talkpage if needbe. LadyofShalott 15:16, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
