  • I'm not an administrator or anything experiences. However, I analyzed some sources, and I'm not sure if they are reliable. #1 is a blog; #2 is a bare URL; #3 is verifiable and looks reliable because it is a news article; #4 that cites a hook doesn't mention ISAF; #5... is it or is it not user-submitted? The article needs an Arabic language. ISAF is less simple; International Security Assistance Force is more simple, even when long. --George Ho (talk) 02:49, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
you dont have to be an admin to review ;) Did you have 5 DYK noms before?
As for sources: youre right on 1, ill get another; not sure how 2 happened i ran reflinks, also redid; 4 with the ISAF reference has now been changed as there were 2 rferl sources (for the record the bit about ISAF is not in the soruce but it says about the intl forces which per WP:Common sense is led by ISAF); for 5 doesnt look like its user submitted/wiki. I read this, which inidiates its from a NGO itself.
Also not sure which language to put n: Pashtun, Uzbek, Tajik, Haza (?)Lihaas (talk) 05:07, 5 March 2012 (UTC) q
Mmmm.... Diversive languages. You may include these languages, especially if they are relevant to the topic and help ease search. In other words, include all; no need to choose one. --George Ho (talk) 07:39, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
But these non-widely spoken langs have no one to translate. Checked the embassy on WP and no ones theres for some...i did get the arabic for the other one. is it necessary?Lihaas (talk) 15:18, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
If no translation is found... I can't say. Nevertheless, it would not affect the hook. But at least one, if found, is enough for now. --George Ho (talk) 07:42, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
