I know Google Translate isn't reliable, so can you check the source to make sure his popularity with teens is specifically mentioned? Also, the Wikipedia article doesn't mention that he "charmed the teens of the 1960s"; the closest the article comes to that statement is he "became a favourite of teenagers" and I don't think that's quite the same thing. I think new wording is necessary.

- Thank you for looking into this, Z1720, and for a good explanation of Sonnyboy! - The NDR ref has the line "Mit Anfang 20 verdrehte der bildschöne junge Thomas als Bravo-Coverboy Teenagern den Kopf.", and when I ask Google for his name and "Bravo" I get lots of those cover pics. As said in the nomination, a better wording is welcome. - The German article has in the lead "für einige Zeit als Teenager-Idol bekannt". - I took the triangle link. - The unreferenced sentence was added by User:Clibenfoart: can you, Clibenfoart, please add a reference? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:53, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: The Sonnyboy definition was added by Grimes2: can you, Grimes2, provide a source for that definition? The information about the Bravo cover should be added in the article, and that can verify the "charmed the teens" part of the hook. I have suggested two ALTs below, one with the teen charm and one without. I removed the film actor prose; his voice-dubbing work tells the reader that he is a voice actor so mentioning film acting seemed redundant, and I think shorter hooks are "punchier". - Now I looked, and found nothing about 2004 in the two sources, - that's commented out now until a ref can be added. Quite generally: don't add any fact without a reference, Clibenfoart, but certainly don't leave a fact without it in articles aiming for the Main page, or higher quality. - I restored the last line to its proper position. Z1720, I wrote a bit more in the lead. This person was a familiar face, not only voice. Please let's find some way to mention that.
