Szebnie concentration camp edit

  • The article and hook mention typhus but the image information (derived from reference 3 (in Polish)) talks about typhoid fever. These are entirely different diseases and this confusion needs to be cleared up before this nomination can proceed. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:27, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the asking, Cwmhiraeth. The reference in Polish says, quote: "Podczas epidemii tyfusu plamistego, jaki panował w obozie w latach 1941-1942 zaraziła się i wkrótce zmarła mając zaledwie 30 lat." In Google translate the entire sentence reads as: "During an epidemic of typhus that prevailed in the camp in 1941-1942 she got infected, and soon died at the age of 30." "Tyfus plamisty" translates in Google as "typhus", not "typhoid fever".[1] – Actually, I did double-check in Wikipedia search before I wrote it down, because I had the same doubts as you. I'm not a doctor. I would not know myself, which disease is deadly and so easily transferable.  Done I just changed the i-link in main copy from epidemic typhus to typhus. What do you say? • OK, all well now. The article is long enough and new enough. The hook reference is in Polish and accepted in good faith. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:49, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
