Statue of Liberty (Seattle) edit

  • Reviewed: TBD

Created by SounderBruce (talk) and Another Believer (talk). Nominated by SounderBruce (talk) at 05:51, 23 September 2018 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, inline citations, neutral, no close paraphrasing. I have some problems with the hook - the article doesn't say that the Denny Party were the city founders so you really have to chase to link to confirm the hook. The name "New York Alki" seems rather obscure - it's not even mentioned in Denny Party although it is mentioned in Alki Point. And the hook says "New York Alki" was the original landing site - there was only one landing site. "New York Alki" was the original name of the place. I think it's better to go with ALT1 which is clear and confirmed.
  • Good to go with ALT1. MB 00:03, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
  • I would prefer the ALT0, since it ties in New York and Seattle in two ways. I have added a mention in the article itself of the name/site, but the Denny Party being the founders of Seattle is easily implied by the wording. SounderBruce 07:17, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Still awaiting QPQ. SounderBruce if you prefer ALT0, please jazz it up so it's as hooky as ALT1 :) Yoninah (talk) 15:27, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
  • As this has been stuck for almost two months now, and the fact that SounderBruce hasn't been able to provide a QPQ, I will donate one of my own here (Template:Did you know nominations/Interstate 84 in Oregon) so that this can move forward and be promoted. Rest of the review per MB. Despite the nominator's preference, I think ALT1 is the better hook and is more interesting to a broad audience. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 22:52, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
