I have to agree with Catrìona here though that the hooks might be a bit too long. Personally I think ALT1 is the better of the two hooks and could be basis of a shorter one. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 13:02, 25 November 2018 (UTC)
  • Serial Number 54129, the two hooks are 198 and 199 characters, which is within the discretionary range to be rejected due to unnecessary link length. As it says at WP:DYK, The hook should be concise: fewer than about 200 characters (including spaces and the question mark, but not including the ... or any (pictured). While 200 is an outside limit, hooks slightly under 200 characters may still be rejected at the discretion of the selecting reviewers and administrators. At this point, whether you agree or not is not an issue, as two reviewers both believe that they are too long as they stand, and I can see their point, so I have struck the hooks. Please propose a more concise hook if you wish this to proceed; it shouldn't be difficult. Thank you.. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:54, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
  • The nominator has apparently declined to suggest new hooks despite multiple pings; in fact, they archived a talk page ping without replying either on their user talk page or here. As this cannot move forward without new hooks being proposed, unless the nominator decides to propose a new hook or another editor does so, this is now marked for closure as unsuccessful.
