September 1948 Florida hurricane edit

5x expanded by 12george1 (talk). Self nominated at 15:44, 23 May 2014 (UTC).

  • This was not quite 5x expanded, but was promoted to GA on the day of nomination so is still eligible. The article is well referenced and doesn't appear to have any close paraphrasing. The hook fact is cited, and the QPQ is done. 97198 (talk) 02:35, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • You sure that isn't 5x expanded? How far off is it?--12george1 (talk) 05:38, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
  • It was ~1,950 characters before expansion and is now ~7,800 - that's around a fourfold change. But as I said, since it's just been promoted to GA it's eligible for DYK anyway. 97198 (talk) 07:53, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
