  • Comment In an edit history that dates back to April 2018, JBuckley93 has a grand total of seven edits, of which three relate to creating the nominated article for Salamone, two relate to his company and two relate to this DYK nomination. The only mainspace link to the nominated article is from Saladax Biomedical (his company) and the only link to the company article is from his article. The article might just barely pass the DYK standards, but the WP:COI (among other) issues appear rather blatant and this has every appearance of an attempt to get this article promoted on Wikipedia's front page from an editor who can't possibly have figured out how to accomplish all of this in an edit history comprised of a handful of edits. • Article is new enough and long enough. There is a big {{ad}} tag that needs to be dealt with and the tone of the article sounds indeed promotional. I also don't see how WP:GNG is met here, considering that all sources mention Mr. Salamone only in passing. The first source does mostly not support the content given. Source #2 is a list of publications, again it does not support the content given. Last paragraph is unsourced. The first hook is interesting but needs more precise sourcing. No QPQ needed but this article needs serious work before it can go on the Main Page, assuming that we should have the article at all. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 20:46, 15 September 2018 (UTC)
