  • ALSO ALT IMAGE image if anyone has problem with naked File:Johann Rudolf Koller Reiter und Bäurin an einem See.jpg.
  • What, no saddle? that Stagecoach looks rough, ouch! (The "cow in the cabbage-patch" painting might be another possibility). Martinevans123 (talk) 09:25, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

New enough; long enough; no copyvio, close-paraphrasing or plagiarism; no QPQ needed. Original hook is fine but boring; ALT1 isn't really accurate; ALT2 is not cited (please add a reference for the whole of the Death section; I shouldn't really let this through without one, but since the boss of DYK is out of the office doesn't exist, there's no fear of me losing my job, so I'll trust you to add one); ALT3 doesn't have a direct reference; so....ALT4 ready to go with one of the cow pictures (I like the one in the cabbage patch; that cow! honestly!). You could also have the original hook, but, like I said, it is boring and the associated picture is too racy by comparison so it will probably cause some sort of DYK implosion when boring and anti-boring touch.Belle (talk) 16:18, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Sorry Marty looks like some new hooks apperared - that pic is now for for hook NR5 .... Hafspajen (talk) 18:26, 3 October 2014 (UTC) Belle ... check it out Hafspajen (talk) 18:24, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

ALT4 with a cow picture, ALT5 with the mail coach picture or either of ALT6 or ALT7 are all OK. I'd prefer ALT4 or ALT5 (the other two leave me cold; I'll have to put warm socks on). Belle (talk) 22:39, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

ALT 5 is what I like. NO, no socking, B. If you also start sockig, I kick you. Keep to one identity, it is very tiring otherwise. Hafspajen (talk) 11:15, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

Cow socks? Hafs, you're a legend. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:35, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
Marty, - you are hopeless.Hafspajen (talk) 12:18, 4 October 2014 (UTC)
checkY I too opt for Alt. 5 with Gotthardpost, his most widely known and most arresting painting. Swiss commemorative coin honoring it (issued 2013) added to article. Sca (talk) 14:44, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
