Mining in Ethiopia

edit

Microcline from the Kenticha mine, Oromia Region, Ethiopia.

New from Redirect, by Rosiestep (talk), Nvvchar (talk). Nominated by Nvvchar (talk) at 18:54, 4 August 2013 (UTC).

The article dates to 31 July and was nominated within 5 days. It is 7805 bytes (source), nearly all of proper content, so the length should be great. It is well sourced, sounds neutral, and doesn't seem closely paraphrased (the biggest source is a book that is offline, but I'd bet money there's no problem). Not a BLP.
The hook sources directly to [1] and is confirmed. It is interesting and cited inline and not closely paraphrased. I counted 198 characters, but I don't really want it shortened. It would be convenient to see dollars instead of birr, but ... everyone has their own preference, so I can't ask for that!
The lovely photo from a reliable source (Mindat) states it is microcline and from Ethiopia (confirming that bit of the hook). It is good even at 100px, used in the article, and free.
I vote to accept as is. Wnt (talk) 21:06, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
