Metropolitan Theatre (Winnipeg) edit
- ... that the initial plan for the renovation of the Metropolitan Theatre in Winnipeg was for a rock and roll museum? Source: "The Canad Inns Corporation purchased the building from downtown development agency CentreVenture in late 2006 for $100,000, originally with the intention of converting the theatre into a rock 'n' roll museum. The company spent $500,000 on renovations, but the plan never got off the ground." (Canad Inns gives historic spot a $16-M second chance by Bartley Kives at Winnipeg Free Press)

- Interesting history, on good sources, no copyvio obvious. Could you bold the other names in the lead, please, and make redirects, and perhaps write a bit more summary? - I've created redirects, bolded the other names, and expanded the intro somewhat. I don't think the hook link needs "Winnipeg" revealed, given that the hook itself states "...Metropolitan Theatre in Winnipeg...", making it clear that this is not the New York facility.
