McKissack & McKissack

edit

5x expanded by Orlady (talk). Self nominated at 04:49, 5 January 2014 (UTC).

  • - Is "black company" really the best term? Why not "owned by African-Americans"? Otherwise looks fine. Hook is short enough, fact is interesting, length and expansion check out, as does the hook fact. No close paraphrasing found, QPQ done. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:58, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
When I wrote the hook, I called it "African American", but the hook exceeded 200 characters... --Orlady (talk) 03:34, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Hmm... What about "Black" with a capital B? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:42, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Good idea! The upper-case "B" improves things. I'm editing the original proposed hook accordingly. --Orlady (talk) 14:19, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks! That puts my concerns over this hook (the ambiguity of small-b "black") to rest. Good to go. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:24, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
