- Comment only: the hook appears to be saying that the ferry saw the fire. Surely, you mean that someone aboard the ferry saw the fire? Schwede66 02:22, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- The article says the officers and captain saw the fire, probably making it the ferry itself?

08:12, 23 August 2024 (UTC)- Hello @TheNuggeteer:. Why should this article not be redirected, given that of the six references previously in this article, two were duplicated and have been merged, one isn't reliable, one offers only trivial coverage, and one only mentions the ship in relation to the disaster (and I can't read the sixth)?--Launchballer 20:46, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- I see nothing here that establishes notability of this ship for a standalone article on Wikipedia. There are only four sources in this article. The newspaper photogragh posted to Flickr is not a full-fledged news article. The UPI archives article has only a passing mention of the MV Don Claudio. The Kansai Shipbuilding Association Journal entry is just a list of technical specifications. The citation to Philippine Ship Spotters Society is a self-published document on Wordpress, which is a deprecated source. I feel like this is a candidate for deletion or merging, and not for DYK.
