  • Comment: Sad that she died, and noticed too late for Recent deaths. The article is a collaborative work of love. So here we are. See my talk, and the video. "for 60 years" is short for "from 1955 to 2015", both ends sourced. The image is not the greatest, but shows her attitude quite well, at age 87. David, could it be improved, perhaps?

Actually I just provided a link to the Guardian. This article is all Gerda Arendt's, and Jmar67's. LouisAlain (talk) 08:39, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
  • Gerda Arendt, sorry but this is not very hooky. Can you try something with "the first listener and critic" quote. I like the 60 years part but the locations are not that interesting. --- Coffeeandcrumbs 07:39, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
Feel free to word something, I won't. the hook is my protest about her not on the Main page among Recent deaths (but instead 3 men I nominated, all today, and some for 3 days already) although she is of international importance. Many wives of composers were first listeners and critics, but none I know played with their husband for 60 years, from a collection called games. In German it would be "spielen Spiele". It moved me to tears, remembered well from 15 years ago as if it was yesterday. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:19, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
ALT1 ... that the Hungarian pianist Márta Kurtág (pictured) and her husband performed together for 60 years, often from his collection entitled Játékok (Games) on an upright piano?
Jmar67 (talk) 09:50, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for the offer, but "piano pieces" and "upright piano" seems a needless repetition. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:57, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
Long enough, new enough, well sourced, neutral, no apparent copyvio, and hook ALT1 is interesting and more impactful. Photo is good for MP. (I have considered the implications of rescinded OTRS permission and believe it is still valid for derivatives even though I have no access to the OTRS tickets.) --- Coffeeandcrumbs 22:00, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
