Is he saying "The quality of an athlete is not the goal of participation?" or "The quality of an athlete is not the consequence of the goal?" And even if you told me which, I'm not sure I know what they both mean. EEng 22:11, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

Substantial bio on good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I'm sorry, I see practically nothing on the image, and find the original way too complicated. My favourite so far is ALT3, but how about using the line "key builder of the Canadian sport system" which seems to sum it up? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:26, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
I do not understand what is meant by "I see practically nothing on the image, and find the original way too complicated". I am looking for a reason why ALT2 was struck. I see no comment here. Flibirigit (talk) 05:15, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, for missing a word: I find the original hook too complex. I struck ALT2 because two others are better, and a fifth hopefully will be better than the two. We want to end with one. You can also revert all I did and ask for a different reviewer. I saw this marked as urgent, and did what I could. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:50, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

@Gerda Arendt: Here are some other hooks. Flibirigit (talk) 17:11, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Thank you, all better, I think. My favourite is the short ALT6, then comes the trophy, - my English may be just not enough enough for understanding ALT5. I leave the choice to the prep builder. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:16, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
