Lorna Arnold edit

  • ... that in post-war Berlin, Lorna Arnold was the UK secretary in the Economic Directorate of the Allied Control Council, and slept with a revolver under her pillow? Source: "In the unstable Berlin of 1945, where she slept with a revolver under her pillow and was greeted by soldiers as "Miss Rainbow, sir!", she was UK secretary to the economic directorate, engaged in constant, difficult negotiations with the Russians, French and Americans." • New GA status verified. As one would expect for GA, well written and well sourced (except for the lead, which doesn't need sources as it merely summarizes the later material). Earwig found some matches with https://lornaarnold.org/bio-3/ (not checked in the GA review), but that appears to have been scraped from our article in early to mid 2012 (according to the only date I can find on that site) and our matching text was there earlier, so I'm pretty sure the copying went the other way. Hook is interesting and within rules. One source for the hook is offline but the other one checks out. QPQ done. Good to go. —David Eppstein (talk) 05:22, 20 September 2017 (UTC). —David Eppstein (talk) 05:10, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
