  • The article is long enough and new enough. I assume good faith on the offline references. I prefer the first hook, but the promoter can use ALT1 if they desire. The image is properly licensed. SL93 (talk) 13:58, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
@L293D: Before this can be promoted, you will need to add references in the article for the fact that the submarines were named after these men, a reference for each name unless there is a single source covering all four. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:47, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
Cwmhiraeth It was sourced to an offline reference before. I don't know what happened. SL93 (talk) 11:23, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
It was removed by someone with access to the source with the edit summary - "Conway does not say they were named after these individuals". SL93 (talk) 11:29, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
I'm marking this for closure. No other hook was proposed and the article problem still remains. The nominator has been editing. SL93 (talk) 03:43, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Please don't close this. I'll be going to my local library next week and I could propose an alt. I'm just a little busy. L293D ( • ) 20:35, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Nevermind, this nomination isn't going anywhere and my library doesn't have anything to help me. L293D ( • ) 03:56, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
