- Note: this nomination was not transcluded after it was created, but after being contacted a couple of days ago, nominator Yeon So Jeong has expressed a desire that it be revived, which typically DYK allows for untranscluded nominations. - @Yeon So Jeong: we're referring to English grammar. The first sentence, for example, has noun-verb confusion: Jeju Oreum (Hangul: 오름, Hanja: 岳) is the rising small defunct volcanoes in the Jeju Island in South Korea. - Two issues here: one, the article has not been significantly edited in several weeks, and two, the hook is rather vague and doesn't really describe the subject matter. @Yeon So Jeong:, please address the issues as soon as possible. It is time to close this nomination as unsuccessful, unfortunately. I rescued it after it had not been transcluded back in December, with the assurance that Yeon So Jeong would be taking care of any issues raised. This has not been done. There have been sufficient enough issues with the English prose that one reviewer thought it was translated from another language; it is, in fact, created in English, but the prose is not adequate for it to be run at DYK on the main page. The prose hasn't been adequately improved since then, and the nomination is now nearly six months old. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:13, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
