  • GGTHow about including a date, also linking to the the Greek prime minister Mitsotakis to denote that it is about a contemporary event? Then also remove the exit from Greece? I mean, she was threatened and reportedly attacked, but she wasn't forced to leave the country by the greek authorities.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 06:35, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the comment. The point here is to make this an interesting hook and I don’t think that adding the date would help accomplish that - in fact, it would dampen the “punch”. The suggestion about linking to the Greek PM is definitely worthwhile - will do. The hook does not claim that she was forced by the Greek authorities, it simply states that she had to leave the country, which is in in line with the language used by the sources - the IPI calls it an “involuntary departure”. This is definitely the most interesting part of the hook (the news items focus on her departure, not the attacks), so I strongly prefer keeping it in. —GGT (talk) 00:50, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
On the date I thought it might be an interesting hook to show that this is possible in the 21st century and that it wasn't during the Greek Junta. How about something on the lines decided, chose to or (death threats) which made her leave the country instead of had to . The Al Jazeera source states that she was forced to plan leaving the country, if you check the IPI link it says also that she planned to leave the country and if one reads the whole article it becomes evident she chose by herself to leave. Under pressure from the media, but she decided by herself.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 02:34, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
”Which made her” would be an improvement. Thanks for the suggestions - I don’t have access to a PC at the moment but feel free to implement the two changes (link to Greek PM and wording). —GGT (talk) 22:55, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
How about this? But we need an additional reviewer now to tick it in.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:41, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
