Fascinating topic and article! Well sourced, I can read the sources. Article questions: I don't need any refs in the lead, which should be a summary of referenced facts in the body. Can the Fiat sentence be arranged that the link comes first? I think I understand "member of the German Green Party and Independents coalition", but an uninitiated reader should likely be told a bit more. (Do I understand: he is a member of "Die Grünen", which form a coalition with independent parties - or is it a specific party?) - Hook question: I would like something that mentions what he is known for, now referred to in "also", but historian seems too little, - I would mention one of the books, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:19, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- I rearranged the Fiat sentence so the link comes first. I rewrote the coalition sentence to "...he also served briefly on the Reutlingen City Council as a member from the coalition of the German Green Party and the Independents.", hopefully to make this a bit clearer. Independents have no party affiliation but in Reutlingen they form a coalition and vote with the Greens. I suspect he was an Independent rather than a Green Party member given his libertarian leanings, but the source doesn't specifically say which half of the coalition he belonged to. I don't think I can go much further with that. I moved the ref in the lede to just after his exact date of birth.
