Haiti at the 1936 Summer Olympics

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: The article has been successfully expanded 5x, the initial expansion edit beginning on September 4. The article is within the time frame to be submitted with good prose of around 4,000 characters. The article is adequately sourced, free for plagiarism or close paraphrasing with around 2% from Earwig. Not cited here is the hook, but it can be found within the article. The hook is interesting, I feel like I have heard this fact somewhere, so seeing it true is content.

As for my DYK reviews, I want to provide at least one fix to an article where I can find it (seeing it also nominated for WP:GA, the article may benefit from these changes). The source for the hook in the article (Reuters) does not explicitly state the country of Liechtenstein changed its flag in 1937. This can be easily fixed by adding the CIA World Factbook citation from its sister article. Suggest linking Flag of Liechtenstein to the lead's sentence Liechtenstein changing its flag in 1937. Change "digital.la84.org" of citations 1 and 2 to LA84 Foundation.

Sadly, Haiti's single athlete never got to compete and felt shame. However, we do have this tidbit of information. Adog (TalkCont) 17:21, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
