Frédéric Gounongbe

edit

5x expanded by Kosack (talk). Self-nominated at 09:53, 2 July 2016 (UTC).

  • Article is both new and long enough. The English citation for the hook does not state that Gounongbe holds a bachelor's degree in international business, only that he studied business. As long as the French citation gives the information it is fine, although finding an additional reference in English would be preferable. I am partial to the second hook; it is more interesting and doesn't have the same sourcing issue. Alexislynn(BYU) (talk) 20:45, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
I used Google translate for the French reference which translated it as: "Gounongbé also graduated with a Bachelor in International Business in Brussels EPHEC." I included the second reference as it mentions he studied a baccalaureate and business but is not specific about it. If that is not solid enough, I'm more than happy to go with the alternate hook in it's place. Thanks. Kosack (talk) 21:08, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
  • Alexislynn fell ill, so I'm happy to finish the review. The article appears to be neutral. It looks like this is Kosack's 5th DYK nomination so QPQ is not required.Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 20:11, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
  • Rachel Helps (BYU), neutrality and QPQ are important, but you have not commented on whether the newly added information is sufficient to support the original hook, nor have you covered all of the "Within policy" criteria listed above this edit window. Can you please check these in order to complete the review? (The close paraphrasing/copyvio/plagiarism check is especially important.) Thank you very much. • 5x expansion checks out within the requisite timeframe. There are no copyvios that I can find. The article is neutrally written, and cited inline to reliable sources. Both hooks are cited inline (one of the sources is in french, but google translate says it supports the content in question). The web sources are not quite ideal, but acceptable, IMO; it's hardly controversial information. Since both hooks are okay, hook choice is with the promoter. I'll select Alt1 for the DYK as I'd rather not rely entirely on Google translate for the hook just incase. Kosack (talk) 15:15, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
