  • ... that Fidel Castro Díaz-Balart (pictured, left) led a failed twelve-year effort to build nuclear reactors in Cuba? Source: "Se suicida Fidel Castro Díaz-Balart, hijo mayor del expresidente de Cuba". BBC Mundo. 2 February 2018.

  • I can't see anywhere in the article where it says he led a "failed" twelve-year effort. Gatoclass (talk) 08:03, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
    • I have added reference to the fact that Castro Díaz-Balart was removed from the project, and that it was thereafter suspended. bd2412 T 17:17, 6 February 2018 (UTC)

Overall: Sources all check; only one is not an online source and one other is behind a paywall. A couple of minor issues, though. That Castro Díaz-Balart "first public appearance was in 1959" is not in the video cited as far as I can tell. The second paragraph of the "Death" section repeats a sentence in the "Life and career" section. Otherwise an excellent effort. —  AjaxSmack  20:02, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

I have addressed these two issues. Cheers! bd2412 T 21:22, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
  • @BD2412: Seems to me you have an April Fools hook lurking in here somewhere... Yoninah (talk) 22:07, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
  • I would rather not. The purpose of DYK is not to trick people for a laugh. bd2412 T 23:49, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
