Emily Tinne edit

  • ... that the largest single collection of one woman's clothes owned by a UK museum came from Emily Tinne, who also owned the first motor car in Liverpool?

Created by Worm That Turned (talk) and Staceydolxx (talk). Nominated by Worm That Turned (talk) at 16:57, 13 March 2016 (UTC).

  • Loving the combination of two hooks to create a single one for Tinne. Article created on March 12, 2016, nominated a day later, so good to go. Hook is sourced and I'm WP:AGFing on the usage of the Daily Mail source. Did minor syntax edits with AutoEd and all seems good. Just one thing, you should create the talk page with appropriate Wikiprojects and assessment. —IB [ Poke ] 20:59, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Reopened, as discussed at WT:DYK. She did not own the first car in Liverpool, perhaps her family did long before she married into them. Fram (talk) 12:01, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

Fair enough, looking again at the source it says the "Tinnes owned the first motor car in Liverpool", whilst talking about Emily. It's ambiguous, and looking at the dates, yes that doesn't seem right. Happy with the Alt. WormTT(talk) 12:37, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
  • I think it's alight to tick this. Myself and Worm both think the alternative is worded fine. Accuracy already been check by others. Jolly Ω Janner 03:54, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
