Eilidh McIntyre

  • ... that British sailor Eilidh McIntyre won a gold medal at the 2019 470 World Championships? Source: [1] "Mills and McIntyre will compete for the first time since August 2019, when they finished second at the Olympic test event at the Tokyo 2020 sailing venue in Enoshima. They had clinched their first 470 world title as a pair just two weeks prior."

  • The article is long enough and new enough with no copyright violations. A QPQ has been completed. I would like to approve the original hook, but the only mention of a gold medal in the article is that her father won a gold medal in 1988. I realize that the award that she won in 2019 was a gold medal, but people unfamiliar with the topic might not realize that if it isn't specifically stated. SL93 (talk) 00:18, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
Pinging Joseph2302 just in case my talk page message was missed. SL93 (talk) 03:10, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
  • SL93 found and added a source that explicitly mentions a gold medal. Joseph2302 (talk) 08:02, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
  • Thanks. The promoter can choose the hook. SL93 (talk) 15:35, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
