China Administration of Sports for Persons with Disabilities edit

  • Article is long enough, date moved from sandbox to mainspace checks out, text is clear and avoids close paraphrasing, plus I've added the article to a couple of categories. The hook fact is supported by apparently reliable sources. However, the article's sourcing is very thin with the bulk of the article sourced to a single self-published website (and that reference was broken until I tracked down the actual URL for the cited document) plus a lone article from Beijing Review. While I don't personally question notability, the lack of sourcing gives me pause; not enough to withhold the check but enough to hold off on the green until a couple of reliable third-party sources can be found. (To be clear, this could be promoted without them, but it would be a whole lot better if it had them.) - Dravecky (talk) 09:35, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
I have added an additional source. My apologies for the broken link. Hawkeye7 (talk) 22:36, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
While the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation isn't strictly a third-party source, it is nice to have one that's not run by the Chinese government. Any chance there's a third-party source for the hook fact? - Dravecky (talk) 06:16, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
IWBF is an independent body. It has nothing to do with the CASPD or the Chinese government. Hawkeye7 (talk) 12:12, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Sure, but it is hosting the U25 Women’s World Championship in Beijing, China, at this facility so it's a second-party source. A newspaper covering the event would be an uninvolved third-party. - Dravecky (talk) 12:38, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
Anyway, I don't have any, and I have limited access to news sources and search engines. Hawkeye7 (talk) 12:08, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
On further review, this is just sufficient for DYK purposes. Perhaps the greater attention it will receive from its time in the queue and on the front page will drive more editors to add additional sourcing. - Dravecky (talk) 17:04, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
