Bun Troy edit

Bun Troy at spring training, 1913

  • ... that baseball pitcher Bun Troy (pictured), who won a doubleheader while pitching all nine innings of both games, was killed in action during World War I?

  • 5x expanded, close paraphrasing avoided by occasional uses of quotes for tricky bits and interesting comments, faithful to sources, adequately sourced and written neutrally, hook sourced..but whould we add that it was a minor league it occurred in? I don't think it's needed since there's no assertion as to what type of league the feat was made in. The article is quite clear about which accomplishments were in minor and major league. My objective with a DYK hook is to make them accurate but concise, which I think is satisfied here. Cbl62 (talk) 22:00, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
alright then - I am no expert on baseball. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 02:21, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
