Bill Adamaitis

edit
  • ... that Catholic University's Bill Adamaitis was hailed as the "hero of the Orange Bowl" after both catching and throwing touchdown passes in the 1936 game?

  • Article is at AFD right now. Will review in more detail if it survives. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:38, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
  • @Crisco 1492: The AFD was withdrawn and closed as a "keep." Now ready for a full review. Cbl62 (talk) 23:43, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough and long enough. Hook fact is in the article and referenced, though I'll have to AGF because the source is behind a pay wall. Haven't found any close paraphrasing. Only image in the article is fair use and valid for that purpose. Good to go. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:57, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
