2018 AFL Women's Grand Final edit

  • ... that the Western Bulldogs won the 2018 AFL Women's Grand Final? Source: "The Daughters of the West proved to be Daughters of the Wet, as the Western Bulldogs overcame a goalless first half to clinch a thrilling six-point victory over the Brisbane Lions in the AFLW grand final at Ikon Park." • Article is long enough and was expanded five-fold shortly before nomination. Passes spotchecks on neutrality, plagiarism, and sourcing. I feel like the hook is rather weak and is in need of replacement; I suggest using the venue, Brennan's suspension, or perhaps the 40-point win to qualify as alternative hooks. QPQ has been completed. SounderBruce 21:52, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
  • ALT1: That the 2018 AFL Women's Grand Final was the first time an AFL Women's Grand Final was played in Melbourne? Source: "IKON Park will host the first AFLW grand final played in Melbourne" [2]
  • ALT2: That at the conclusion of the 2018 AFL Women's Grand Final, acting captain Ellie Blackburn called upon her suspended skipper Katie Brennan to help hoist the team's trophy? Source: "In scenes reminiscent to the 2016 men's grand final when injured Bulldogs skipper Bob Murphy was called up to the dias to hold the cup aloft, stand-in captain Ellie Blackburn summoned Brennan to lift the cup on Saturday alongside coach Paul Groves." [3]
  • Both ALTs look good to me, especially ALT2 (my preference). SounderBruce 00:33, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but was wondering what are the sources for the season ladder and the Scorecard? Could you add cites? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 22:15, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
As is normal for scorecards, the source is the link under "Report". Added the cite for the ladder. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 22:22, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you, I didn't see that. And thanks for the ladder cite. Restoring tick per Sounder Bruce's review. Yoninah (talk) 22:39, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
