Tejaswini Prakash is an Indian model and actress who predominantly appears in Kannada and Telugu films. She is best known for her role with Dr. Vishnuvardhan in Mathad Mathadu Mallige and has several award honors to her fame. She appeared in the 5th Season of the popular television reality show Big Boss Kannada, hosted by Sudeep.

Early life
Tejaswini Prakash (Tejaswini, Teju) was born into film-lineage family to Vinaya Prakash and Prakash. Both her parents were contributing artists primarily working in Kannada. Her mother, Vinaya Prakash appeared in 10 Kannada soap operas; her father was a fighter who has worked in 150 movies till date. Tejaswini has a bachelors in Psychology.
Career
Tejaswini made her film debut in 2007 through Masanada Makkalu; her role in the film was critically acclaimed, earning several best Actress Awards. She rose to fame with prominent roles in Mathad Mathad Mallige, Gaja, Aramane and Goolihatti.
Tejaswini has also branched out to Telugu film Industry with her appearances in Prathikshnam and Kannulo Nee Rupamey to name a few.[1]
She is also commonly referred to as Niharika among common folk for her small screen debut in the Vinu Balanja directorial Niharika.[2][3]
She appeared as a contestant in 5th Season of Bigg Boss Kannada.[4]
