I don't think Atabek can really source that his work caused the NK war. A little far fetched aint it?-- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 16:17, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd call it OR. Here is an article he wrote about Bako Sahakyan [1] VartanM 16:39, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Revival of our Souls

edit

Can somebody verify if he wrote the Revival of our Souls book? --George Spurlin (talk) 03:03, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

He said he never did. Pretty sure he didn't. Nocturnal781 (talk) 06:15, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Allegation's section

edit

I added the allegations section because everyone keeps talking about the nonexistent book "revival of our souls" claiming he is the author. i created the section and cited sources, Armenian and non-Armenian, that show he didnt write such a book. Ninetoyadome (talk) 06:38, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

So he didn't write the book. Thank you. George Spurlin (talk) 08:42, 7 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
No he did not. Azeris created the book to invent evidence for the events that took place in khojaly. Ninetoyadome (talk) 06:07, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ninetoyadome (talk · contribs) That entire section is one major WP:BLP concern. I suggest it be removed entirely. Étienne Dolet (talk) 19:13, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
The point of the section was supposed to be about how he never wrote that book "revival of our spirit." The first link has him saying he never wrote it and the other are from the Armenian Foreign ministry and other saying the same thing. There are no non-Armenian sources for this because why would a non-Armenian or Azeri talk about this small thing? I already mentioned how the Azeris claim he had something to due with khojaly so why add it again using a dubious source?Ninetoyadome (talk) 19:27, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ninetoyadome (talk · contribs) Well, I just think it's appropriate to remove the dubious quote and summarize it. It is way too graphic and detailed for something that's highly likely to be entirely made-up. So I suggest just narrowing it down to, "Balayan was accused of killing children during the war." Or something of that sort. That will alleviate BLP concerns at least for a little bit. Étienne Dolet (talk) 19:51, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I've made some changes, does that seem more appropriate? I just left what Balayan and the ministry of foreign affairs of Armenia said.Ninetoyadome (talk) 20:03, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Much better. I think there's nothing wrong with leaving all the opinions towards the allegation. The Turkish newssource, for example, was a good third-party observation. Étienne Dolet (talk) 21:00, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
The only problem i have with the sources used were they are poor sources. How is bosniatimes a reliable source or turkishactionalert or yuksekovahaber. The turkishweekly article is written by an Azeri quoting other Azeris, how is that neutral?Ninetoyadome (talk) 00:07, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ninetoyadome (talk · contribs) I have made some copy-edits myself. Let me know what you think. Cheers, Étienne Dolet (talk) 05:03, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Looks good, I have no complaints Ninetoyadome (talk) 05:10, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
