Before readig the history, I added the note about phenylalanine. A similar note about this had recently been removed. So after thinking about it, I removed the new note. It would be cumbersome for all articles mentioning aspartame to mention phenylalanine also, any this information can be found by following the aspartame link anyway.

Removing unsourced statement about when to take zolmitriptan edit

An anonymous user posted:

For the treatment of cluster headaches Zomig must be given at the onset as it will usually not work when the headache is at full strength

A study, [1], seems to prove other wise, so I'm removing the statement. --Mark PEA 11:54, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am 51 years of age and have had severe Migraine attacks for the past 10 years often related to rapid weather changes as commonly known North of the Alps in Austria.
After trying many different medications, Zomig (Zolmitriptan) has given me significant relief to a point of functioning to my near normal self.
With that said - I do have to agree that taking the Zomig 2.5mg at the very earliest signs to get this type of relief is pertinent. In my experience, taking the medicine after the full onset of migraine symptoms, the effects are not as effective to a point whereas I have to take a second tablet of 2.5mg Zomig Rapidmelt within 4-5 hours.
Also this notion was communicated by my prescribing doctor! 91.133.114.2 (talk) 08:03, 11 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

i visited the page and the side effects seemed to lack the possibility of a heart attack, i carefully read the leaflet that came with the medication and it clearly stated that there's a risk of heart attack, the leaflets last revision was 10th of august 2004(as per AstraZeneca)

I visited the page today, and deleted a link called "Zomig User Experiences", because it went to a dead link. 66.206.170.242 18:20, 12 October 2007 (UTC)a migraineur using Zomig for the first timeReply

Aspartame edit

The reference to the aspartame migraine mention is a dead link. It's unsourced. As such, I propose that it is removed.84.92.73.137 (talk) 09:26, 20 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
