Districts

I counted at least nine uses of the word 'district' before the table. It was time to use the dictionary. RASAM (talk) 14:22, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

If you're going to post snotty comments about other editors' work, do try not to make elementary errors as it makes you out to be a bit foolish. The word you are looking for is Thesaurus. Maybe it's time you used the dictionary, or perhaps just be civil and delete this section? Fenix down (talk) 14:34, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

I am responding to your 'snotty comments' remarks above. I would have done so earlier, but this page was not on my watchlist (I did not think it was necessary), so I have only just seen what you have written.

I wanted to reduce the number of 'districts' because on reading the article aloud (one of the MOS editing guide-lines), it jarred.

I wrote that "It was time to use the dictionary" for one very simple reason, I do not possess a Thesaurus. On my late father's passing, I acquired not one, but two dictionaries, but sadly, no Thesaurus. Therefore, I was trying to use the dictionary as a sort of Thesaurus to diminish the number of 'districts'. It would seem that I was not trying hard enough, I was merely trying to explain my actions.

On looking at this article's edit history, I see that Fenix down, under the 'author' tag, features quite a lot, maybe he/she is among the "other editors" mentioned above.

Perhaps Father Christmas (Santa Claus) will bring me a Thesaurus in December; or should that read: "Perhaps Father Christmas will bring me a Thesaurus at Christmas for Christmas". On receiving said book, might my errors not be so elementary?
