Sequel, or another flash in the pan? edit

BBC has been producing some great stuff over the decades, but their best works and most populous (see: Torchwood) become flash in the pans with little follow through, no sequels, or sequels that turn into mini series.

This three part 'series' is like Sherlock, six episodes over four years doesn't make a serial in my estimation but a sporadic production of shows. I was wondering if someone can attend to finding if there will be sequels to these three short episodes? 211.30.150.122 (talk) 07:16, 7 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

There's no solid word on any new episodes. Unlike Sherlock, which by design is 3 double length epsiodes per season, Young James Herriot apparently was a 3 episode trial with a possibility of turning into a 6 episode series order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.53.186.18 (talk) 07:17, 24 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
